The California-based company has placed pre-orders for extra-luxury iPhone 8 models on its site. Prices range from 6 thousand to 60 thousand euros
Los Angeles-based luxury accessories manufacturer Brikk has announced on its site that it has begun taking pre-orders for custom iPhone X models. These are phones with gold-plated shells, in pink or platinum colors. The price ranges from 6 thousand to 60 thousand euros.
On the site of the U.S. company we read that all reservations will be shipped between November 2017 and January 2018, depending on the custom model you have chosen. Be careful though, the shipments will be free only in some countries: United States, United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore. Italian customers therefore will have to spend an extra amount. On the company's website you can read that each "Lux iPhone X" will have 512GB of internal memory. Obviously this is a joke. Brikk decided in this way not to anticipate any information, since the luxury iPhone X were launched on the site before the official presentation of Apple.
gold-plated iPhone 8
The most expensive model of luxury iPhone X, as mentioned, is close to 70 thousand dollars. At the current exchange rate, that's about 60 thousand euros. This is an iPhone X entirely made with a gold shell. About 250 grams of 22-karat gold was used to produce it. This is not the first time that the company Brikk has made ultra-luxury models of Apple devices. Many iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 have been made with special covers by Brikk and even some Apple Watch have undergone this "upgrade". On the site Brikk you can also buy special AirPods, the famous wireless headphones from Cupertino, made entirely of gold, spending about 8,300 euros.
