Important news for WhatsApp. A few days before the start of 2019, the iOS version of WhatsApp receives the first update of the year that brings with it three new very useful features: you will be able to reply privately to messages received within groups, add stickers in photos and videos with the editor present within the application and use 3D Touch to see the statuses of users,
Responsing privately to messages received within groups is a feature that iOS users were clamoring for and that had been released in December on Android. After a few days of testing on the beta version of WhatsApp, it was also released for the official version. Equally important is the ability to customize photos and videos with stickers: previously it was only possible to add emoji, text and manual drawings. Here are the latest news about WhatsApp January 2019 update for iOS.
How to reply privately to messages on WhatsApp
With the new feature you will be able to reply within single chats to messages received in groups. If some participant of a group asks you questions, just select the message, press on the "+" icon and then on "Reply privately". It will open a private chat with which you can talk one-on-one with your friend.
For Android users, the feature was already available since December.
How to add stickers to photos and videos
For lovers of funny pictures, WhatsApp has added a new feature on iOS that allows you to insert stickers in photos and videos as well. Previously, it was only possible to customize images and videos with emoji, text and hand drawings. To add a sticker, just open the WhatsApp editor and select the one you like best.
Check a user's WhatsApp status with 3D Touch
The latest feature only affects users who have an iPhone that still supports 3D Touch, now no longer present on models released in recent years. Thanks to this feature you will be able to preview the status of a user by simply touching the 3D Touch.
