The smartphone mounts a 6-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9, Snapdragon 652 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage
HTC has removed the veils from the U11 EYEs, a new mid-range smartphone that the Taiwanese company will launch in the coming weeks on the market. The device features a large screen (6 inches) and top-notch hardware.
Despite the problems that are plaguing HTC in the last period (the U11 Plus, announced in the last months of 2017 and considered by many as one of the best smartphones of the year, is still not available for Italian users), the Taiwanese company continues to diversify its smartphone line-up in the hope of winning over new users. The U11 EYEs in addition to having a respectable spec sheet, also features a dual 5-megapixel front-facing camera that allows you to unlock the smartphone with facial recognition.
Features HTC U11 EYEs
The smartphone goes to fit into the mid-range premium range, devices that are not the top of the range, but compared to the mid-range have something more. And that something extra the HTC U11 EYEs has it in the photo compartment. At the back we find a 12-megapixel "Ultra Pixel 3" photo sensor with optical image stabilization (the lens should be the same as on the HTC U11). Frontally, however, there are two 5 Megapixel sensors that allow you to unlock the smartphone through facial recognition. Moving on to the technical specifications, the HTC U11 EYEs mounts a Snapdragon 652 chipset, supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable through a microSD). The screen is 6 inches with 2160×1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is water resistant (IP67 certification) and has a 3930mAh battery.
The smartphone will hit the market with Android Nougat 7.0 customized with Edge Sense user interface. Gestures are also available that allow you to activate certain features by simply "squeezing" the smartphone.
