As reported by the State Police on Facebook,users are sent to click on a link to check their financial situation, but it is a scam
The State Police still warns against yet another computer scam. According to what can be read on the Facebook profile "Commissariato di PS Online -Italia", some users have received a false alarm message from AGOS, a company specializing in loans and financing.
In the text spread on the social network of the Police, the tone is worrying. The victims are informed that their accounts have been temporarily suspended because unusual activity has been detected. And like any self-respecting computer scam, the message invites users to check their accounts by clicking on a link. And that's not all. Dopo il “gentile” consiglio, arriva quella che sembra essere una minaccia bella e buona. Nel tentativo di rendere l’imbroglio più credibile possibile, e indurre molte persone a cascare nella trappola, i malfattori avvertono, infatti, che in caso non venga effettuato l’accesso agli account, aprendo il link presente nel messaggio, rischiano il “blocco per le prossime fatture di acquisto con carta on-line”.
