Disney + is the streaming service of the Walt Disney Company launched in the United States last November 12. Just like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, it allows you to enjoy a lot of content by paying a monthly subscription. After the launch in the USA, Canada and the Netherlands, Disney+ is working on the global release: the platform will be available in our country starting on March 24, 2020. Compared to initial forecasts, users will have to wait a week less to see the flood of Disney productions but also Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars and even National Geographic. The Walt Disney Company's streaming platform will arrive by spring 2020 not only in Italy, but also in other European countries, such as the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Austria and Switzerland. Other nations such as Belgium and Portugal instead will have to wait until the summer.
When it arrives, users will have at their disposal a large catalog of content signed by Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar and National Geographic. There will also be exclusive productions such as the first TV series inspired by the imagery of Star Wars entitled The Mandalorian. In addition to this, there will be other original content such as High School Musical: The Musical - The Series, The World According To Jeff Goldblum or even new Diary of A Future President. The original TV series will be a total of 25, the films 500. In addition to exclusive content, it will be possible to watch cult films and series, such as all episodes of The Simpsons and also National Geographic documentaries. The company has already prepared the strategy and content to be launched for the next 5 years.

The company had already confirmed that all episodes of the Star Wars saga will be available to subscribers, in addition to the Marvel titles already released on the big screen. The company has unveiled all the costs of the Italian service, which looks very much like the Netflix subscription proposals. You can subscribe to Disney+ in two different ways: with a solution of 6.99 euros per month or by paying 69.99 euros per year.
Content can be watched from all devices, including many models of smartphones and smart TVs, all you need is an internet connection. Disney+ will allow simultaneous access from up to four devices and download an unlimited amount of content from ten different devices. Finally, you'll be able to set up to seven profiles, including those reserved for minors, which will have age-appropriate content and a more user-friendly interface.
