The Taiwanese company is ready to launch a new top of the range: it is the HTC U 11. It will have a dual rear camera and will mount Snapdragon 835
The year of redemption. After a period of tarnish, HTC has returned powerfully in the world of telephony. And it has done so since the first months of 2017, with the launch of the HTC U Ultra and the HTC U Play: the first is a top-of-the-line smartphone, while the second is a mid-level with good technical features but a high price.
But the two smartphones presented in January will not be the only surprise of 2017. The Taiwanese company announced for May 16 the launch of the new HTC U 11, a top-of-the-line smartphone ready to challenge the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6. HTC has launched a teaser on YouTube where it shows some of the features of the device: the user will be able to interact with the smartphone through the edges using special gestures. To be able to win back disappointed fans, HTC is ready to invest in new features and anticipate the moves of the opponents.
Features HTC U 11
The Taiwanese company wants to continue on the path traced with the HTC U Ultra that, despite a fairly high price, has received good reviews from industry experts. The HTC U 11 will be a real top of the line: it will mount a Snapdragon 835 chipset, supported by at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The screen will be 5.5 inches with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. As for the photo compartment, in the back there will be a dual 12-megapixel camera, while in the front the camera will be 16-megapixel and will have specific features for selfies. The battery is expected to be 4,000 mAh. The HTC U 11 will be available in five different colors, but as far as the price is concerned there is no news.
