On Facebook Messenger you can add a third person while you know making a video call with a friend. Here's how to do it
Facebook announces a new feature for its instant messaging app. You can now add more people while you are making a video call with a friend on Facebook Messenger. This is a different feature than the video calls available within group chats.
This way you will be able to add people to the call who were initially excluded. For example, if you have to organize a Saturday night out and you are talking to a friend, during the conversation you will be able to add other people (one, two, three or four) and decide together what to do. This turns a one-to-one video call into a group call. The new feature is available for all users, both Android and iOS and to get it you just need to download the latest update of the app.
How to add new people to Facebook video calls
Using the feature is very simple and there is no need to download third-party apps. You just need to have the latest version of Facebook Messenger. To add a person to the video call we are making with our friend, just press the icon in the bottom right corner in the shape of a little man with a "+" on the side. When we start a video call, a message will also appear above the icon that says "Add person to your chat". After clicking on the icon, a small window will appear on the screen with all the people we are friends with on Facebook and in the first positions are the users we talk to most often. When adding new people to the video call, while we wait for them to answer, it will be possible to continue talking with our friends, as we do in everyday life. Finally, users will be able to use the filters and masks usually available in video calls.
