Samsung has launched the Wireless Charger Trio mat, to charge up to 3 devices simultaneously: here's how much it costs
Big bet for Samsung: the South Korean giant bets everything on the evolution of charging and launches the first mat that can provide power to three devices simultaneously. Presented at the beginning of this month, the Wireless Charger Trio has made its debut unveiling the halo of mystery that had surrounded it in recent weeks and revealing some of its interesting features.
At the moment, in addition to South Korea, the device is also available on the site of the big electronics and other online sellers. The price in Italy for the new mat from Samsung will be 99 euros. The Wireless Charger Trio did not come alone, however. With it, it ended up in the spotlight along with another interesting novelty, also in the same sector. This is the PD Battery Pack, which supports fast charging and comes with an impressive 20,000 mAh battery. For its pocket sibling, the price, however, has settled on a moderately lower range, launched at 77,000 South Korean Won, that is just over 55 euros.
Samsung Wireless Charger Trio: what it is and how it works
Rectangular shape, rounded edges and limited thickness, the pad is equipped with three LED status indicators and a magnetic holder specifically for Galaxy smartwatches. The Wireless Charger Trio is equipped with Qi standard and also supports 9W wireless charging.
Not only Samsung products: the 5W to 7.5W Wi modes also allow for quick charging of Apple devices, such as the various iPhone 11 and iPhone SE models. For more choice, the Samsung Wireless Charger Trio arrives in two different colors, white and black, so as to agree just about everyone, even those who in terms of electronic devices do not want to give up aesthetics.
Samsung Wireless Charger Trio: a bit of history
The new mat from the house of Samsung is not entirely new. Back in 2018, the house launched a predecessor with similar features and an equally similar operation. This is the Wireless Charger Duo, which, as the name suggests, was able to charge only two devices at the same time.
The model that has just joined the catalog signed Samsung, makes it really difficult to stay without a charge. No more frantic search for cables and cords, just place on the mat the smartphone, wireless earphones and the inevitable smartwatch to be able to stock up on energy for hours and hours.
