How to change your name on eBay Classifieds

Changing your name is pretty easy as long as you know your registered email address as well as your password.

1. First you need to log in to eBay Classifieds with your personal log-in details.
2. In the top line you will find several tabs, from which you select "Mine".
3. Now you can select the option "Edit" below your ad. You will now see an overview of all your stored data.
4. Scroll down in the overview until you find the entry "Name". Change your username there and confirm the entry.
5. Make sure that you do not change your personal data, as you are required on eBay to represent a real person - including the necessary personal data. If you delete them, you may be liable to prosecution.
6. Once you click on the "Mine" category again, you will now be shown your new username.

How to find the right username
