eBay Classifieds: Change address - here's how

To help nearby buyers find your products, it's important to include an address with your ads on eBay Classifieds. Therefore, if this has changed, it is recommended that you change the address. How this works in the app and via the browser, read here.

How to change the address in the eBay Classifieds app

Unlike eBay's normal selling platform, it is not necessary to store an address when creating an account on eBay Classifieds. Rather, this is only specified when you create a new classified ad. If your address has changed, you can change it for already active classifieds at any time.

1. To do this, open the eBay Classifieds app on your mobile device and tap the icon with the three bars in the top left corner to open the main menu.
2. In the menu, then navigate to "My Ads" and select the ad for which you want to change the address.
3. Click "Edit Ad" at the top right of the ad and scroll to the area with your contact details to enter a new address.

eBay Classifieds: Change address in the browser

If you do not use eBay Classifieds as an app, but in the browser, a different procedure is necessary to change the address for one of your ads. To do this, first log in to your eBay Classifieds account and go to "Ads" > "Edit" in the "Mine" section. Here, in the "Location" section, you now have the option to type in new address information and save it.
