Resize an image in Paint - no problem!

If you don't currently have any professional image editing software installed on your computer, or if you simply want to change the size of an image in a straightforward manner, you can also do this easily with Paint. Formatting in Paint is child's play and only takes a few seconds.

Change image size in Paint - this is how you proceed

When changing an image size, it doesn't matter whether you first create the image in Paint, edit a screenshot or load an already existing image into the program.

1. Open Paint and call up the desired image.
2. Now click on the item "Resize" in the upper menu bar.
3. You have the option to choose whether you want to adjust the image over a specific pixel size or in relation over percentage values.
4. Set a check mark at "Keep aspect ratio" if you want to prevent the image from being distorted after editing.
5. Sobald Sie mit den Eingaben zufrieden sind, klicken Sie auf „OK“.
6. Nun können Sie das Bild über „Datei“ und „Speichern unter“ in ein gewünschtes Format exportieren.

Bildgröße ändern in Paint: Welche Maßeinheit wird genommen?

1. Oftmals ist es auch relevant, das Bild auf eine bestimmte Größe in Zentimeter zuzuschneiden. Auch die Angabe in Zoll ist durch Paint möglich.
2. Klicken Sie dazu auf das blaue Symbol oben links und wählen Sie „Eigenschaften“.
3. Geben Sie nun die gewünschten Werte in Zoll oder Zentimeter ein.
