iPad restart - troubleshooting

You will already be familiar with the fact that devices sometimes hang or the screen freezes from other technical devices. Often this is not a difficult problem and you can solve the situation by restarting the iPad. We will show you how to do it.

How the trick works: restart iPad

Before you apply this troubleshooting solution, you should keep in mind that current documents or unsaved work steps may be lost through the process.
  1. If you want to restart your iPad just like that, first press the power off button until a slider appears on the screen.
  2. Slide it to the right to turn off your iPad.
  3. Now hold down the single button on the narrow edge of your iPad until you see the Apple logo. Press the home button to log in.
  4. If you want to restart your iPad because the screen is frozen, you must first hold down the power button and press the home button or standby button at the same time.
  5. Hold down this combination of buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds.
  6. Once the screen has turned black and you subsequently see the Apple logo on a white background, you can release the keys.
  7. The advantage of this method is that the cache is also cleared at the same time, which is often responsible for problems.

Pay attention to the power

Even if the screen is frozen for a long time, the battery can become weak. This is because your applications continue to run in the background. That's why you should make sure you have power before rebooting. Because if the battery is low, the solution may not work at first.
