Make Black Light Yourself: Bring light into the dark

How to make black light

You don't need much material to turn your phone into a black light lamp. You should have a blue as well as a purple felt-tip pen and transparent tape on hand.

1. Cut a piece of the tape and stick it over the flash of the cell phone camera. Make sure that there are no large air bubbles.
2. Paint over the tape with the blue felt-tip pen and let the paint dry. Subsequently, stick another strip of tape over the flash and paint the tape blue again.
3. After you have applied the third strip of tape paint over it with the purple felt-tip pen. Let this color dry as well.
4. To make your black light lamp durable, you should apply another strip of tape.
5. In a dark room, you can now test your lamp and also take photos with black light effect.
