The iPhone is a special form in mobile devices, because it is, among other things, the only smartphone that does not allow expandable memory. When you buy a smartphone, the available memory is already determined and cannot be expanded by an SD card, as is the case with Samsung and Co.

iPhone: Show storage space - simple steps

Since you should always have the available memory on your smartphone in view, the option for this is also only a few steps away.

1. First start your iPhone and go directly to the settings. You can recognize the app by the gear icon.
2. Further, switch to the category "General", which is marked by the same icon.
3. In the next step, select the option "Storage & iCloud usage".
4. Now you can see how much memory is currently used on the device and how much is available in total.
5. You can also see information about the available and used memory in the iCloud.

1. Wenn Sie diese Schritte nun durchführen, da Sie glauben, zu wenig Speicher auf Ihrem iPhone zu haben, sollten Sie sich direkt mit der Freigabe beschäftigen.
2. Tippen Sie auf „Speicher verwalten“, damit Ihnen der genutzte Speicher von jeder einzelnen App angezeigt wird.
3. Durchsuchen Sie vor allem die Ordner „Fotos & Kamera“ nach unnötigen Dateien und löschen Sie diese.
4. Auch nicht genutzte Apps sollten im Verlauf entfernt werden, um neuen Speicher freigeben zu können.
