WoW: Shadowlands patch 9.1 announced - all info

WoW Shadowlands launched at the end of 2020, a few months later the first major content patch was announced and presented at BlizzConline. Read what content to expect there.

New adventures: there will be a lot to do with the update to 9.1.

With the update, Shadowlands will carry the version number 9.1. This follows the WoW-internal version progression, as it is already known since vanilla release.

WoW: This brings Shadowlands 9.1

Here is all the previously known info at a glance:

• Probably a crunchy challenge: Sylvanas will appear as a raid boss.
• The location of the action is the new raid called Sanctum of Domination in Torghast.
• With Korthia a new area comes into play.
• The Shadowlands finally become a flight zone. So you are allowed to saddle your flight mounts, however, to do so you must reach a certain point in the Pact campaign.
• This will apply account-wide once reached with a character.
• However, you can only fly in the four realms of the Pacts, not in Korthia and the Maw.
• In the form of Tazavesh, a mega dungeon with eight bosses awaits hero groups.
• To this end, the WoW story is continued, among other things, it is about the plot line of Anduin.

The official patch notes and possible further news are still pending, because immediately after BlizzConline was not even the release date of 9.1 known. Experts suspect, however, that the patch could appear in the worst case only in June - so there is currently no reason to hurry with the current content.
