PS4: NAT type failed - these tips help

If you receive the error message on your PS4 that the NAT type has failed, many users cannot do anything with it. What is relevant, however, is that there are problems with the Internet connection, which is why playing online won't work for now.

What to do if NAT type fails on PS4?

If you get the error message "NAT type failed" or see the entry in the PS4's Internet connection overview, the Internet is not working on the PlayStation. This means that online multiplayer games, updates and many other features are not available. To fix the problem, test the following solutions.

• First, check if you can access the Internet with other devices. On the smartphone or computer, open any website in the browser. If all the internet is gone, there might be a fault. Do you have no Internet for a few hours, contact your Internet provider for technical assistance.
