Apple Homepod: Use the equalizer settings
With the Apple Homepod you have the possibility to use the voice assistant Siri. Using voice commands, you can thus control functions of various applications or play music that you have on your smartphone. If you don't like the sound of the speaker, simply change the settings.
How to use the Homepod's equalizer
When you start using the Apple Homepod, you need to set it up via the app and link it to your Apple account. After that, you can use voice commands to Siri to control the various functions of the smart speaker. If you want to change the sound of the Homepod, you have the option to adjust the equalizer via your iPhone.- First, start a music track of your choice with your Homepod. This is needed to adjust the settings and is usually done via AirPlay.
- Then go to the settings of your iPhone.
- Select the option "Music" here.
- At the very bottom of the page is now the item "EQ" for the equalizer.
- Now you have the opportunity to make the settings as desired and test them on the previously selected music track.
- Have you made the desired changes, close the application. The settings remain saved for your iPhone. If you use another device to play the music via AirPlay, these settings usually have to be made again or transferred.
