Upload Amazon Music - how it works

Amazon Music is a music streaming service where you can also upload and listen to MP3s as well as CDs. To use this feature, you need to register with Amazon Music once with your data.

Prerequisites: Upload music to Amazon Music

Unfortunately, you can no longer upload your own songs from your personal music library to Amazon Music. Instead, you can only upload tracks that you have purchased from Amazon digitally or as an auto-rip enabled CD. If you have tracks that meet these requirements, proceed as follows:
  1. Open the Amazon Music application on your PC or Mac.
  2. If your tracks are not listed automatically, select a music file on your computer and drag it into the upload selection, which you will find on the right side under Actions.
  3. If you have a CD instead, insert it into your PC's CD drive while the Amazon Music application is open.

Additional features of Amazon Music

Using Amazon Music Free, some songs, playlists and radio stations are available for free listening. If you are an Amazon Prime customer, the range expands. You can stream over 2 million songs ad-free.Even more offers a subscription to Amazon Music Unlimited. Here you have a very comprehensive selection of music at your disposal. Also, new music will usually be available to you on the release date. So by subscribing you may not have to rely on your personal music library, but can stream the songs and get many more to listen to ad-free.
