Restore your phone - you have this option

If you have reset your phone or you want to switch to another device, it is necessary to restore your data afterwards. However, this is only possible if you have previously created a backup. You may be able to restore the contents even without a backup.

How to restore your phone's data

If you made a backup before deleting the data, you can quickly restore it depending on the backup you chose. However, if this was not possible for you, you still have other options to restore your data. Here, external tools can help, which you can get in the corresponding app stores.
  1. Once you have deleted data unintentionally, switch your device directly to flight mode and put it aside first, so as not to accidentally delete the contents permanently.
  2. If you own an Android phone, you need root access for some tools to be able to restore the data.
  3. If the data is stored on an SD card, you can remove it and connect it to the PC. Here you can then use a program, such as EaseUS, to recover the data.
  4. The program can also be used to recover data that was stored directly on the phone. For this, you need to connect the phone to the PC. Note here that not all files are always found. The chances are higher if they are stored on the SD card.
