Android Q: Create folder - guide

For the latest Android version, there are numerous apps that you can download and install from the App Store. Optionally, it is possible to use external APK on your system. To keep track of all the apps, you can create folders.

How to create a folder on Android Q

In the Google Play Store, you can download and install numerous apps. These can be useful gadgets for everyday use or various games. Since there are a lot of different apps, you can quickly lose track if you have too many displayed on the screen. Under Android Q, it is therefore possible to create and name folders. This way you can sort your apps better.
  1. If you want to create a folder, this is not possible via a specific function in the settings. Instead, tap and hold on an app.
  2. After that, it is possible for you to move the apps.
  3. Then drag this app to another app that you want to sort in the same folder.
  4. Let go of the held app.
  5. A folder with the two apps is now automatically created. To add more apps to the folder, drag more apps into the folder. The name is initially selected automatically. However, you can change this at any time later.
