Smart Lock: Add trusted device

Smart Lock allows you to add devices on Android that do not lock the screen when the Bluetooth connection is active. This is especially useful when the smartphone is connected to Bluetooth speakers and should be permanently accessible. Adding a device is a breeze and can be done in just a few steps.

Smart Lock: Is the feature even active?

In order to add a device and use the feature, you must first enable Smart Lock on your smartphone.

1. To enable Smart Lock for your Android smartphone, first go to Settings.
2. There you will find the "Security" entry, under which you will already find the "Advanced" option.
3. Now tap on "Trust Agents" and check if Smart Lock is already enabled on your device.
4. If it is not, slide the switch to the right to enable Smart Lock.
