Can you actually buy Google Stadia? We explain

Stadia is Google's platform for cloud gaming and as such cannot be bought. However:

• You have to buy the games you want to play on Stadia. Existing games from Steam and Co. can not be transferred, as already explained here.
• Alternatively, you can subscribe to Stadia Pro and thereby get access to the free games. With this method, you can try out the service for 9.99 euros a month, but then without your favorite games.
• Have you bought a game, you can play it at Stadia at any time without further costs. With Stadia Pro, you get further advantages such as higher resolutions and HDR.

Stadia is thus quite flexible in terms of running costs. You only have to buy your desired games separately, but after that you don't have to rely on further expenses.
