Surface Pro 6: Switch camera - how to change the view
The Surface Pro 6 from Microsoft has multiple cameras. One of them is located on the front, the other on the back of the device. Both cameras have different resolutions and can be used for different purposes. Changing the cameras is possible in just a few steps.
How to change the camera on the Surface Pro 6
The camera on the front of the Surface Pro 6 has a resolution of 5 megapixels. This is primarily intended for video chats and similar applications. With the help of the two additional sensors, it is also possible to lock the device via facial recognition. In addition to this camera, there is also one on the back of the device. This has a resolution of 8 megapixels. Since the resolution is not necessarily sufficient for high-quality pictures, it is mainly intended for scanning documents. If you want to switch between the two cameras, only a few steps are necessary.- By default, most applications on the Surface Pro 6 select the front camera to take pictures. If you want to switch it, you must first open the Windows Camera app.
- Here you will find a camera button. Click on it, the view of the camera is changed.
- In most applications, the button is already present, so it is not absolutely necessary to leave the app and adjust via the Microsoft app.
- If the camera can not be changed, install the latest updates.
