How to delete empty rows in Excel

- Mark the cells in the range from which you want to remove the empty rows.
- Click on "DATA" at the top of the Excel menu and then on "Filter".
- Click on the drop-down arrow, which is now visible at the first entries of the selected columns.
- Uncheck "Select all" and check "Blank".
- Now you will only see the empty lines. These appear in the enumeration on the left margin in blue font. Select all the blue numbers and remove the rows with "Delete rows".
- After that, click on the dropdown arrow again and check "Select all" again. Now the other lines appear again, only with the difference that there are no more empty lines in between.
- To finish, click "Filter" again at the top so that the button is deactivated.
