Who is ahead in the Microsoft Teams vs. Skype comparison?
Skype for businesses will be abolished from mid-2021 and thus replaced by Teams. On both Skype and Teams, you can chat, video conference and share files until now. In addition, Teams offers several additional features that are not available on Skype:- Compared to Skype, Teams trumps with more extensive features through the integration of other applications such as Trello, OneNote or Forms.
- With one license, up to 10,000 passive participants can dial into a Teams conference. With Skype, there is a maximum of 250. The file storage limit is also higher with Teams.
- The group and channel creation options are more diverse in Teams than in Skype.
