GOG: Return game - these are the conditions

The gaming platform GOG has developed strongly through the major update to GOG Galaxy 2.0. Cyberpunk 2077 has further raised its profile. We explain how long you can return games.

No rush: At GOG, you can return games up to 30 days after purchase.

A return period of two weeks has become established for digital game purchases if the game has not been used for more than two hours. This is at least the case with market leader Steam as well as Google Stadia.

GOG, the platform of CD Projekt Red, on the other hand, shows itself incomparably more generous:

• You can return games within 30 days after purchase.
• The special thing: There is no upper limit on the playing time.
• These conditions only apply since February 2020. Previously, games could only be returned for 14 days and even then only if the game has not yet been downloaded.

With the new rules for returning games, GOG should have become much more interesting as a platform for many players. The fact that hits like Cyberpunk 2077 can optionally be played on GeForce NOW while they are in the GOG library is another incentive.
