Excel: Fix row - these are your options

The spreadsheet program from Microsoft is one of the most popular programs for organizing tables and creating charts. With the integrated functions, you can display your data sets according to your wishes. It can be helpful to fix the row with the labels for the columns.

How to fix a row in Excel

In Excel, all the functions are available to sort large and small data sets in tables. Afterwards it is possible to display them as charts. If you have a table with a lot of rows, then it can be useful to fix a row. For example, if you want to always see the column headers, then you can fix them and thus also see when scrolling.

1. If you only want to fix the first row of your worksheet, then go to the top first on "View".
2. Then click on the menu item "Fix window".
3. Now select "Fix top row" in the options.

5. Zunächst müssen Sie die Zeile markieren, die nach der Zeile kommt, die Sie als letztes fixieren möchten.
6. Gehen Sie anschließend auf „Ansicht“ und danach auf „Fenster fixieren“.
7. Wählen Sie hier die gleichnamige Option „Fenster fixieren“ aus. Nun werden alle Zeilen fixiert, die sich über der markierten Zeile befinden.
