Setting up Windows 10 without a Microsoft account
Microsoft has discontinued support for almost all operating systems except Windows 10. In this respect, most users are forced to switch to the new Windows 10. During installation, it is not always apparent that Windows 10 can be installed without a Microsoft account.
How to set up Windows 10 without a Microsoft account?
When you install Windows 10, you will be directed to a page where you should sign in with your Microsoft account. However, this process is also possible without a Microsoft account.- Remove the network cable from your PC before installing Windows 10. If Windows 10 does not detect an Internet connection during installation, it will automatically offer to create a local account.
- Press "Create New Account" at the bottom right. Here you get the option to create a local account and thus bypass the login.
- Enter deliberately wrong credentials to cause an error message. Once the error message is displayed, you will be given the option to continue without a Microsoft account again.
- Select "Skip this step" to force a login without a Microsoft account.
