Contacts can be managed on the iPhone X in a variety of ways. What has not changed over the years, however, is how you delete a contact.

1. Take your iPhone X in hand and switch to the address book. This you will find with a yellow folder as an icon.
2. Within the contacts you can now select various entries by tapping briefly on the contact.
3. You now have different functions available.
4. First tap on "Edit" and scroll within the entry all the way down.
5. There you will find the "Delete Contact" button, which will permanently delete the contact from your iPhone.
6. Note that when synchronizing through the iCloud, the contact will also be removed on all other devices.
