Spotify: Change playlist order - it's possible!

Spotify is a music streaming service. You can create your own playlists or queue up songs to play one after another. If you want some variety when listening to your playlist, you have the option to change the order of the songs as you wish.

How to change the order of songs in your playlist in Spotify

If you have the premium version of Spotify, you can create as many playlists as you want. If you want to play the songs you have added to a playlist in a different order, that is also possible. For example, you can sort them by alphabet

1. Open the Spotify app on your mobile device.
2. Click on the top right on the three dots arranged below each other to open the menu.
3. Here you now have several options to choose from. Click further down on the item "Edit Playlist". Here you have the option to set a custom order. If you only want to sort the songs according to a certain scheme, click on "Sort Playlist". With this option, you can arrange the songs by category, for example.
4. If you want to move a song in the custom order, tap and hold the three horizontal lines on the right. Then move the song to the position of your choice.
5. Once you have set the desired order, click "Save".
