PowerPoint: Working in portrait format - how to do it

When creating presentations, you want to guarantee optimal quality and comprehensibility at all times. For this reason, you need to resort to graphs and charts in various places, which are often compressed thanks to the landscape format. In PowerPoint, however, you can switch to portrait format if necessary.

PowerPoint: How to set the portrait format

The portrait format is a default setting in PowerPoint and therefore does not require any further installation as well as any plugin setup.
  1. Start PowerPoint and call up your already created project or create a new presentation via "File" and "New".
  2. Now you can click on the "Draft" entry in the tabs, which you will also find in the same bar as "File".
  3. At the bottom of the button you will find the "Page Setup" button, which you now click.
  4. Now you will see some options for the alignment and formatting of the current page in your project.
  5. Among other things, you can select the portrait format and confirm by clicking "OK".

PowerPoint: Das sollten Sie zum Hochformat beachten
