iPhone X: Import contacts - how it works

Depending on whether you use iCloud or another sync service from Apple, you can import your contacts to the iPhone X within a few seconds. If you haven't used the cloud before and aren't familiar with iTunes either, it will take a little preparation.

Import contacts: What you need to do for it

Should you want to transfer the contacts from an old iPhone or a Mac, you can easily use iCloud.

1. To do this, navigate to the settings of your iPhone and tap directly on the entry under which your name is. Log in with your Apple ID.
2. Then switch to the iCloud section and enable "Contacts" there by activating the switch.
3. Now you can take your iPhone X to hand and perform the same steps as described previously.
4. Once you have logged in with your Apple ID, switch to your address book.
5. If the contacts are not yet listed there, update the app.
