iPhone X: Photos on PC - how it works

To transfer photos from your iPhone X to a PC running Windows, you have several methods to choose from. In addition to using iTunes, accessing iPhone photos is also possible using iCloud.

Photo to PC: How to import content from iPhone X

Even if you use a Windows PC, it is possible to transfer the photos from your iPhone X to it. To do this, first download iTunes from the Apple website or Microsoft Store and connect the unlocked iPhone X to the computer via USB cable.

1. If you are using a Windows 10 PC, please press the "Windows key" and click "Photos" in the Start menu.
2. Go to "Import" > "Via USB device" in the Photos app and select the iPhone X photos you want to transfer.
3. If you have a PC with Windows 7 installed, please navigate to "Start" > "Computer" and right-click the connected iPhone X.
4. In the context menu, then click "Import Pictures and Videos", select the pictures and confirm the process with "Import".

iPhone X: Transfer photos with iCloud to PC

Synchronize your iPhone photos with iCloud, you can also download them from iCloud to PC. If you have installed the "iCloud Photos" app on your Windows PC, please set it up by going to "Photos" > "Options" in the app and enable the "iCloud Photo Library". Once set up, all the photos you upload from your iPhone X to iCloud will be downloaded to PC automatically.
