LibreOffice: Set up landscape orientation - tutorial
By default, LibreOffice aligns new documents in portrait orientation. However, in various cases it is necessary to set the document to landscape orientation. Depending on how far along you are in the preparation of the document, the process can be complicated.
LibreOffice: landscape format setup - change all pages
The simplest case is, of course, that you want to transfer all pages of the document to landscape format. In this case, just a few steps are sufficient for the transformation.- Open your document and navigate to the top of the ribbon to the "Format" item and continue to "Page".
- Now click on the "Page" tab.
- Under the "Paper Format" item, you can now switch between the "Portrait" and the "Landscape" format.
- To confirm, click "OK".
LibreOffice: Set up landscape format for individual pages
- To transfer individual pages to landscape format, you must first mark the corresponding pages with a specific style sheet.
- To do this, click "Styles" under "View" and select the "Page Styles" option.
- Right-click "New" and assign a name for the template under the "Manage" tab.
