Spotify: Clear queue

On the Spotify music service, it is possible to queue songs of your choice. This means that these songs will be played one after the other. However, if you want to reorder your playlist and delete the queue, it only takes a few clicks in Spotify.

How to delete the queue in Spotify

To easily delete the queue, you only need to follow a few steps. Whether you use Spotify's desktop app or web app, the procedure is identical.

1. Next to the playbar, go to the icon that shows three horizontal bars. Click on it to make your current playlist open.
2. Now click on the "Queue" section. Select the songs you want to delete.
3. Once you have selected the appropriate sections, you can select different interactions by right-clicking again, or you can select the "delete" button.
4. Once you have confirmed the action, the corresponding songs will be removed from your queue.

How to do it in the app

You can also easily delete your queue in Spotify on mobile devices.

1. First open the Spotify app.
2. Start a song or playlist and tap the song again so that the album art is maximized.
3. Now tap the three horizontal lines on the bottom right to get to the queue.
4. Tap the empty circles to the left of the songs to select them.
5. Then tap "Remove" below.

However, if you only want to change the order of the songs, you don't need to remove the queue completely. By selecting the appropriate songs and simply dragging them to the appropriate place, you can change your queue afterwards.
