A whole range of skills for Alexa already exists. But it is only now that it is becoming individual: With Blueprints, you can create your own Skills. For this, there is a special Amazon website where you are guided in the creation. You can log in with your Amazon account.

Blueprints are ready-made patterns that you can select and customize according to your own needs. This makes the process extremely straightforward. A separate Amazon subpage has been set up for the Blueprints. If you call this up, you will already see various categories on the home page, such as "Greetings", "Fun" and "Home". Click on "All" to get a larger overview.

1. Now either select one of the displayed Blueprints via the categories or click on "Create Now" at the top. Thus you begin the three steps that are sufficient for a finished skill.
2. Now it goes to the details. With the Blueprint "Puzzle fun" you can enter quiz questions and answers, with "My story" you can create any adventure stories, with "Whose turn is it?" you let Alexa distribute tasks (such as in the household).
3. First you are shown examples that you can change or delete. This is to give you a feel for the skills.
4. Followed by this, you can add your own content. Once you have made all the changes, you can save the skill and finish the creation.

With the Blueprints, Amazon expands Alexa's potential quite significantly, as the previously existing skills were repeatedly criticized for various reasons. This step towards individual experience is currently the most important concern around Alexa, as also shown by the introduction of voice recognition.
