World of Tanks: System requirements at a glance

World of Tanks has long since reached cult status and it seems as if the online game will never lose popularity. On the contrary, there are still quite a few players active all over the world. Since the game is still being developed, the minimum system requirement may change over time.

By today's standards, World of Tanks has very low system requirements.

World of Tanks: system requirements very moderate

The tank shooter WorldWorldWorld of Tanks was released back in 2010, but the gameplay is still well received today. This is also due to the fact that the title runs well on older PCs. However, with new features and options in the game, the system requirements have also increased. This is especially noticeable in the graphics card used and the memory required. Therefore, if you experience problems with the game after an update, it is worth checking the requirements again. Because only if you meet them, you can play the game without errors.
  1. Processor: Dual-core CPU or more. The cores must support SSE2. An Intel Core i5 is better.
  2. Graphics card: GeForce 8600 / ATI Radeon HD 4550, but a GeForce GTX660 / Radeon HD 7850 with 2 GB is recommended.
  3. Memory: 2 GB, but 4 GB or more is better.
  4. Memory: You will need about 45 GB for the game, but this may increase with new updates.
  5. Your Internet connection should have a speed of at least 256 Kbps.
With these requirements, most normal PCs are well equipped for World of Tanks. So an expensive high-end computer is not necessary and this ensures that the servers are always well populated.
