Cancel Android subscription: How easy it is

Most Android apps are free, but offer optional paid premium content. If you've signed up for a subscription and want to cancel it, our guide shows how.

Centralized management: your Android subscriptions can be canceled in the Play Store.

The app selection for Android is second to none. For financial reasons, it may therefore make sense to cancel certain subscriptions.

Android: Cancel subscription in the Play Store

Your Android subscriptions are managed via the Play Store. Consequently, you also perform the cancellation there:

1. Open the app or call the web address.
2. Under "My subscriptions" you can see your active subscriptions.
3. With "Manage" you can access the detailed view of individual apps.
4. There you will find the option "Cancel subscription".
5. Confirm the cancellation.

No further debits for the app will now arise, you can use all subscription content only until the end of the current billing period. If you decide otherwise, you can reactivate a subscription at the same point.
