iPhone: Let certain calls through despite silent mode

When you enable silent mode on your iPhone, all sounds are disabled. This includes calls. If you want to hear certain people's calls despite the silent feature, you must first mark them as favorites.

Letting selected calls through in silent mode

Silent mode is used to turn off all sounds on your iPhone. This includes system sounds, button sounds, app notifications, and calls. It can be inconvenient to mute all callers. Doing so can quickly cause you to miss important business or personal calls. To prevent this, you can add individual contacts as exceptions. Then your iPhone will also ring in silent mode for these calls. First you need to add all the appropriate contacts to the favorites list.

Add important contacts to favorites

1. Open the list of your contacts.
2. Tap on one of the desired contacts.
3. Scroll down and select "Add to Favorites".
4. In the list, now select "Call".
5. Proceed in this way with all desired contacts.

Ausnahmen hinzufügen
