Excel: Sum product - how the function works

How to use the Sum Product function in Excel

When you want to perform calculations, it is a good idea to use the functions that Excel already has. These can save you a lot of work and time, such as calculating a sum product. If you want to multiply contents from different columns and then calculate the sum, you can use the function "SUM PRODUCT". This has no fixed number of arguments.

1. Select an empty cell in which the result of the calculation should be displayed.
2. Insert the function "=SumProduct (Matrix1; [Matrix2]; [array3];...)" into the cell without the first and last quotation marks.
