iTunes: Sync library with Android

You can also use an Android smartphone to access the files you have stored in your iTunes library. To do this, you need to sync Android with iTunes. How you can do that and what you need to consider, you will learn here.

How to sync

To access the files in your iTunes library, you need to choose one of two methods.
  1. For the first method to work, iTunes must be authorized on your PC and the songs you want must be in your library.
  2. Open iTunes and click on "Music". You will find all your files here organized hierarchically.
  3. Connect your smartphone via USB cable and open the internal memory or the memory of your SD card.
  4. By right-clicking and the appearing option "Paste" you can deposit the desired music on your smartphone.
  5. You can now play the songs in any music player.
The other variant requires that you use the free app doubleTwist Sync.
  1. Start the app on your PC as well as on your Android smartphone.
  2. Select doubleTwist on your PC and click on "Preferences". Klicken Sie auf „Use iTunes library“.
„Sync now“ startet den Vorgang.
