o2 Activate Multicard - use two SIM cards

o2 is one of the best-known mobile phone providers in Germany. For some time, there is the Multicard offer. This allows you to use a second SIM card that runs under the same contract. This allows you to make phone calls and surf the Internet on another cell phone or tablet at the same time. Activation takes just a few steps.

How is the o2 Multicard activated?

Before you can activate the Multicard, you first have to order it.

1. To do this, go to the appropriate page of o2 and log in with your cell phone number and password.
2. Now you just have to follow the instructions and order the Multicard.
3. Once you have received the second SIM card, you can activate it by going to the website of o2 again and log in.
4. Now navigate to the tab "Activate replacement SIM and Multicard".
5. Enter the 19-digit SIM card number in the field provided and then click "Activate now". You will find the number in the letter that you received with the SIM card.
6. Were the process successful, you will receive an SMS with a confirmation.
7. Be aware that per Multicard an activation fee of 29.99 euros is due and the card costs 4.99 euros every month. If you are a private customer, you have the option to buy three more SIM cards.
