It may well happen that your laptop does not charge properly although the battery is connected to the mains. The cause of this is not immediately obvious in many cases, however there is usually a fairly simple solution to the problem. In a few minutes your laptop should be charging again.

If your laptop keeps losing battery power even though it is connected to the mains, there is a fault. A simple handle usually solves this.

1. Should your battery be removable from the laptop, you're in luck.
2. First turn off the laptop and remove the power adapter from the device.
3. Now turn the laptop upside down and remove the battery by releasing the security latches.
4. Wait a few minutes until you put the battery back in.
5. Now reconnect the power adapter and power up the laptop.
6. The problem should now be solved.

1. Wenn der Akku nicht aus dem Gehäuse entfernt werden kann, müssen Sie den Umweg über die Treibersoftware gehen.
2. Dazu öffnen Sie zunächst den Geräte-Manager und wechseln links zu Akkus.
3. Wählen Sie nun mit Rechtsklick einen der Einträge an und klicken Sie im Kontext-Menü auf „Deinstallieren“.
4. Bestätigen Sie alle Sicherheitswarnungen und starten Sie den Laptop neu.
5. Beim Neustart sollten die Treiber automatisch neu installiert werden.
