With these steps, you can create a Facebook event

To create an event, you first need to log in to Facebook with your credentials. Then you can create the event via the News Feed.
  1. Click "Events" in the left navigation bar.
  2. Then select "+ Create Event" at the top.
  3. Decide whether you want the event to be private or public. This will affect the visibility of the event. A private event cannot be changed to a public one afterwards. Click "Next" after your selection.
  4. In the next step, you have the option to specify various information. This includes, for example, the name, location, date and a description for the event.
  5. Then click on "Create private event".
  6. After the event has been created, you can make further changes. For example, it is possible to add a cover photo or video and invite guests.
  7. Finally, you can share the event in your Chronicle so that it will be seen by more people.
  8. Also, keep in mind that recurring events cannot be created through personal profiles, but only through pages. You need to create pages separately to your profile.
