"Display equivalent"-characters in Word
In Word you have the possibility to create and design documents according to your wishes. In addition, the word processing program offers various functions for displaying different formulas and symbols. If you want to insert the "Corresponds" character into your document, there are two ways.
How to display the "Equals" sign in Word
The Word word processing program provides you with various ways to display formulas and symbols. In addition to numerous mathematical symbols, you can also create the "Equals" sign in Word.- Open Word and move the cursor to the place in the text where you want to insert the sign.
- Then click "Insert" at the top.
- Select "More symbols..." here.
- Next, you need to select "Cambria Math" as the font.
- For Subset, go to "Mathematical Operators".
- Now you can search for the "Corresponds" character in the list and click on it.
- Confirm the selection by clicking on "Insert". The character will now be inserted into your document at the previously selected position.
Insert the character with a key combination
If the way via the "Insert" tab is too cumbersome for you, you have the option to insert various symbols via a key combination.
