Honor 20: Split screen - how it works

Using multiple apps is made easier on the Honor 20 with a new split-screen feature. If you have activated the split-screen mode, you can operate two apps at the same time. We will show you how to activate the mode here.

How to enable split screen on the Honor 20

If you want to view multiple apps at the same time on your Honor 20, this is possible when you use the split screen feature. If you have enabled the split screen mode, the Honor 20's display will be divided into two areas and you will be able to view and operate two apps side by side.

1. To enable the split screen mode, tap the "Recent" button in the navigation list, select an app and press and hold it until the message "Drag here to split screen" appears.
2. Using the gesture feature, you can also swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the recently used apps overview and select the apps for splitscreen.
3. If you want to return to full-screen mode, simply press and hold the split screen and swipe up or down.

Honor 20: How to adjust the split screen

If you want to make changes to the position of the screen parts while using the split screen mode, first press the button of the bar located between the screens and then press the left icon to change their position. To change the orientation of the entire screen, simply swipe down from the status bar on the display to open the notification panel and enable automatic screen orientation.
