How to locate your Apple Watch

If you do not know where your Apple Watch is, it is possible to locate the smartwatch. However, for the location of your Apple Watch to work, it is necessary that you have already activated the "Find my iPhone" function on the paired iPhone. If this is the case, the function is automatically activated on the Apple Watch as well and can be used for searching.

1. To locate your Apple Watch on the computer, please call up the page "iCloud.com" in the browser and log in with your Apple ID.
2. Then click on "Search iPhone" and select your Apple Watch under "All devices".
3. For location via iPhone, alternatively open the app "Where is?" and select your Apple Watch in the "Devices" tab so that its position is displayed on the map.

Locate: How to mark the Apple Watch as lost

If you have determined during the location that your Apple Watch has been stolen or you have lost it, it is recommended to put the smartwatch in "Lost" mode. To do this, select your Apple Watch in the "Where is?" app and first tap "Mark as lost" and then "Activate". Afterwards, you can still tap on "Next" and enter a phone number where a possible finder of the Apple Watch can reach you.
