Valheim: How to find Haldor and what to buy from him

Most Valheim players are initially unaware of Haldor's existence. That's why our guide explains what the NPC merchant is all about, how to find him, and why it's worth it.

Exclusive assortment: you won't find Haldor's items anywhere in the game world.

To find Haldor, you'll need a bit of luck, as his icon only appears on the map once you're less than two kilometers away from him.

Valheim: These items are available from Haldor

The biome he resides in is the Black Forest, though usually not the Black Forest closest to their starting area. You will thus have to explore the world a bit more widely to find Haldor.Once there, you will see the merchant's assortment:

• You can buy fishing accessories from him (fishing rod for 350 coins, 50 lures for 10 coins).
• The Ymir meat (120 coins) is necessary for the production of the iron hammer.
• Megingjard (950 Münzen) ist der Gürtel, mit dem Sie mehr Gewicht im Inventar tragen können.
• Der Dverger-Reif (620 Münzen) sorgt für Helligkeit in dunkler Nacht sowie in Dungeons.
