How to insert a date in Confluence

Especially for knowledge-based wiki articles, it is of great importance that the texts and the knowledge conveyed are up-to-date. For this reason, it is recommended that you insert a date there. In Confluence, this possibility is quite simple and you only need a few key clicks on your keyboard. You can enter the current date as well as a past and future date.

1. In Confluence directly this is quite fast. To do this, first open the software.
2. Then switch to the area where you want to insert the date.
3. Click on the area.
4. Now operate the "/" key twice on your keyboard.
5. Thereupon you will see a date field in the format "dd-mm-yyyy" and a calendar sheet.
6. Wählen Sie aus dem Kalenderblatt das gewünschte Datum aus, indem Sie es dort einfach anklicken.
7. Ist dies geschehen, dann ist das entsprechende Datum genau dort hinterlegt, wo Sie es eingesetzt haben wollten.
