How to set up Unitymedia hotspot

When you set up a Unitymedia hotspot with your mobile device, you have the option to use the so-called Vodafone hotspots. Since Unitymedia is now part of Vodafone, you can now log in via these hotspots.

So set up the Unitymedia Hotspot

If you are on the road, you can use the Unitymedia hotspots with your smartphone. However, they are now part of the Vodafone WLAN hotspots. For this, you only need to set up the hotspot when you find one on the road.

1. Once your smartphone finds a Vodafone hotspot, tap it. To do this, simply go to the message "WLAN networks available".
2. Now tap the Vodafone hotspot and tap "Connect".
3. Now wait a moment until the connection is established.
4. Your browser will now open and inform you about the terms of use. Accept the terms and conditions and you can surf.

If you find a Vodafone hotspot on the road or want to have one set up by buying a ticket, there are a few things to keep in mind:

• You can use Vodafone's public Unitymedia hotspots on the road for 30 minutes per calendar day free of charge.
